Simply put, GB3 is a continuation of my lofi project, "Gohan Blanco," as well as a love letter to the emcees of Portland (my hometown and current place of residence).

All of the features were beats I selected specifically for my guest artists, then tweaked slightly when mixing and producing the vocals.

This album contains no unoriginal samples, except for one speech excerpt of Maya Angelou on "Maya" on the Charlie Rose Show on November 11th, 1993 from the Internet Archives (internetarchive.org; Public Domain), and one foley sample of a children's playground from Apple Loops on "A Good One". All other audio was created by me, and all drums on this beat tape were played live, by hand, on a MIDI keyboard by me.
