Most people make New Years resolutions, but I chose to make a New Years composition instead.

I didn't have any particular structure or aesthetic in mind, but as I started building the piano and bass parts, I felt this harmonic and rhythmic uncertainty that inspired me to look up images of the Siberian wild, which then led me to these royalty-free video clips from Mikhail Nilov (compliments of Pexels) of a magnificent steppe in the Far East.

I hope that 2022 is more like this steppe; open, expansive, mysterious, but with an air of tranquility and stoicism.

Parts played by me, video edited by me. I'll throw this on YouTube and Bandcamp in a bit, too.
